Required vaccines: reduced from 12 to 10

Higher Health Institute gave ok to amendment to reduce mandatory vaccines from 12 to 10 Italian obligation. However, giving the guarantee of four other free. The reduction waits to be approved by the Hygiene and Health Committee of the Senate.

The number of compulsory vaccines required in the decree law in force could be lowered since June 8th.

From 12 would pass to 10: the antimeningococco b and c would be removed from the list.

The Superior Institute of Health (ISS) gave the ok to the amendment presented in the Senate health committee to reduce mandatory vaccines for the obligation school.

They would be mandatory: poliomyelitis, tetanus, diphtheria, hepatitis B, hemophilus influenza b, pertussis, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella.
Optional, but free: Menightococcus B, Meningococco C, Pneumococcus and Rotavirus. For the latter "you will need to activate an active and free offer to cope with possible epidemic events.
