During the pregnancy, One of the most recurrent thoughts in the unborn child's family concerns the sex. Desires and empirical certainties have led to the past to develop methods of doubtful rationality to prepare in advance of the breeds and accessories for the newborn. With the evolution of science and medicine, we have today exams that can give with sufficient certainty response on the sex of the child who will be born.

"However, it is important to emphasize that this element is not a priority and is not included among the main exams to be supported by the mother waiting, but it is a value that emerges among others who tend instead to establish the health of the fetus," explains Irene Cetin, professor of gynecology and obstetrics to the university of Milan and director of the infant maternal department of Hospital Sacco.
