Reconstructed esophagus to a child: at 3 years he eats for the first time

A long surgery has allowed us to reconstruct the esophagus of a child originating in Colombia. The little one has been resigned and could celebrate him's birthday like all children, with a cake.

A three-year-old child from Colombia, suffering from a congenital malformation suffered an intervention of over eight hours that allowed the reconstruction of the esophagus, allowing it to eat for the first time. To connect the oral cable to the stomach, restoring the natural streets, a stretch of colon was used.
